Metallica Saved My Life to Appear at Tribeca Festival
Last week, we told you that we’ve been working on a new film, Metallica Saved My Life, an exploration of our world through the lives of fans. We’re excited to announce today that the final film will officially premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Festival, showing on Wednesday, June 11. Some of us will be on hand at the New York City screening, along with director Jonas Åkerlund, and participate in post-premiere conversations exclusively for Festival attendees. Festival passes are available now, with Single-Day Tickets going on sale on Tuesday, April 29, at tribecafilm.com/festival.
As a little refresher, Metallica Saved My Life is all about you – the fans who have supported each other through highs, lows, trials, and triumphs for over four decades. And yeah, we’re in it a little bit too. Those of you attending M72 shows this spring and summer have the chance to get a sneak peek of the unfinished film at most tour stops in North America. Tickets are available now in all tour cities except Columbus. While the complete documentary is expected to be released later this year, we want the Metallica Family to have a chance to see it first.
