Metallica Night With The SF Giants Returns
April 13 Update: Metallica and the Giants are proud to partner up again to host a special pregame VIP experience in Triples Alley. Your ticket package will also include your Lower Box ticket and the limited-run Giants/Metallica shirt. Additionally, attendees of this experience will get an exclusive, co-branded Metallica/Giants “Rocks Glass” only available to those in attendance!
Blackened American Whiskey Master Distiller and Blender Rob Dietrich will be on hand to educate fans on the unique blending and finishing process of Blackened and guide a live tasting. Additional guests in attendance will include Andrew Cremeans, the artist behind Metallica’s 40th anniversary poster produced exclusively to benefit the band’s charitable foundation, All Within My Hands. We’ll have Q&As with both Rob and Andrew moderated by So What! editor, Steffan Chirazi, and All Within My Hands Director of Philanthropy, Renee Richardson.
Ticket proceeds from the event will benefit All Within My Hands, which continues to raise both funds and awareness supporting workforce education, the fight against hunger, and other critical local services. The Giants and Metallica are excited to have several special and unique items available in our raffle. It’s a tradition that we’ve missed the last two seasons, so we’re really excited for the return of Metallica Night at Oracle Park with our hometown baseball team, the San Francisco Giants. This year marks the eighth time we’ll take the field for the National Anthem, first pitch, and a few other pre-game shenanigans, and it all takes place on Tuesday, May 24th against the New York Mets.
Special Event Metallica packages include a ticket to the game and a limited-edition Metallica/Giants T-shirt; a portion of the proceeds from every Metallica Night Special Event ticket sold will benefit All Within My Hands. Tickets will be on sale this Wednesday, February 16th at 8 AM PST for Giants season ticket holders and Visa cardholders with single-game tickets on sale to the public Friday, February 18th at 8 AM time.
