EA SPORTS™ College Football x Metallica Marching Band Competition
We are so excited to announce that we’re taking the Metallica Marching Band Competition to another level by teaming up with EA SPORTS™ College Football to put our next grand prize winner in the game!
When this exciting opportunity came up, we knew we had to jump on it and extend the collegiate portion of our second-ever competition. Now, the “Collegiate Division 1” 1st Place winner will have the opportunity to record one of our songs and the EA SPORTS College Football theme song to be featured in a future edition of the game!
If you need a refresher on the competition, we’re challenging marching bands to craft the most exciting, unique, and impressive performances of our music. Bands who enter will have access to a library of marching band charts for Metallica songs, provided by Hal Leonard.
Professional judges will narrow down the winners to five finalists. Then, we’ll select the final prize winners in each category, along with a Fan Favorite winner as voted on by the fans. While only the Collegiate Division 1 category is eligible to appear in EA SPORTS College Football, winners in each category will win musical equipment for their school program, with over $165,000 in prizing up for grabs!
